Cross-Cultural Adaptation, Validation and Reliability of the Turkish Version of The Child’s Challenging Behaviour Scale 2

The Child’s Challenging Behaviour Scale 2 (CCBS-2) is a scale designed for mothers of school-age children with disabilities between the ages 5 and 18, evaluates child's challenging behaviours. This study was carried out to conduct Turkish cross-cultural adaptation, validity reliability CCBS-2. One hundred thirty-eight disabled were included in this study. Scale-2 version (CCBS-2-TR) administered twice an interval 7 days. Internal consistency CCBS-2-TR assessed Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. In addition, test–retest analyzed using intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC). Confirmatory factor analysis performed evaluate construct validity. A total 138 (38.6±6.8 years) their (9.8±4.7 value 0.73, demonstrating that has good internal consistency. Test–retest found as (ICC) 0.930 (ICC 95% CI [0.903- 0.949]. As result confirmatory analysis, be unidimensional. reliable valid developmental disabilities. brief, well-targeted, unidimensional can help researchers clinicians follow-up maternal health.
